Requirements for the Ch. Portugal
title
• 4 CAC of which at least one is a CAC-QC
• given by at least 3 different judges
• graded Exc at one of the CPC Shows (Porto/Lisboa)
• graded Exc at the Club Show
(note: the British Shepherd Dogs Club was
formed in 1996 and was extinct in 2016, and reinstated in 2019)
Intermediate and Open Class compete together
for the CAC (thus only 1 CAC on offer per show and per sex). CAC-QCs are only offered at the
Lisboa, Porto and Club shows, so each year only 3 dogs/bitches maximum can become
Champions (though a dog may complete the title in a year different from the one
it gained the CAC-QC). So, despite the not so high number of dogs being
shown, becoming a Champion is not that obvious and many dogs never finish,
because they lack the CAC-QC and/or the Exc at the Club show.
Requirements for the Ch.
Spain title
• 4 CAC of which a least one is a CAC-Punto
Obligatorio
• given by at least 3 different judges
• graded Exc at one of the Punto Obligatorio Shows
• graded Exc at the Club Show (may be substituted
by an Exc in another Punto Obligatorio show)
Intermediate and Open Class compete together
for the CAC (thus only 1 CAC on offer per show). CAC-Punto Obligatorios are only
offered at 3 shows - Madrid, Club show and another show that is selected in
rotation throughout Spain - so each year only 3 dogs/bitches maximum can become
Champions.
Requirements for the Ch.
Gibraltar title
• 2 CAC
Intermediate, Open and Champion Class all have CAC
(thus 3 CAC on offer per show and per sex). Only 2 Shows, on the same
weekend, are organized per
year.
